Through the glass

I had this serie in mind as an homage (or version) of Steve McCurry picture of a woman in India. But the McCurry´s one is about sadness and a tried to give another mood on mine´s. I had not found an apropiate model for, until May Ling came to ask for her model portfolio...
Luckily this day was raining (and a lot!) and in a short pause we went to my beloved VW "Super Bettle", and asked her to do her best performance. Wanted sensuality, misterious, hunger, wish... and she did it pretty well!
I was oposite as her and use my beloved -too- EOS 1n with a "fantastic" 100mm f 2.0, wide open. Used Kodak Supra 400 pushed to EI 1200 for gaining grain, jejejeje, and because it was a VERY dim light around 5pm. Exposure was around 1/90s.
For those who does not know my work, I´m a GRAIN LOVER, is such an amazing mood enhacer, a superb graphic effect, a psycho worker. The coerse limits the amount of details and information, and If you ever heard about Gestalt Theory, you might know that your brain tends to complete the missed information with preconcebited knwolegde or emotions, in few words, GRAIN MAKES YOU THINK OR FEEL!
So please avoid crtiticism about grain. I´m a PRO, and know why I do what I do. Also know HOW to get this grain, is no an accident, is a goal, is a prize hard to find!. If you cannot understand it or appreciate it... sorry for you.
